FAQ – v2 Store Migration, Items & Inventory System
This guide answers common questions regarding the transition from the old v1 store system to the new and improved v2 system.
1. What is v2 and why was it introduced?
v2 is the new store system that replaces the older v1 structure. It introduces improved data consistency, better performance, and a unified item system across all servers. This update allows for more complex item actions, requirements, and better integration with slash commands.
2. Have all servers been migrated to v2?
Yes. All servers have now been migrated to the v2 system, and the old v1 system has been discontinued.
If your server already had items created in v2 before the final migration phase, the automatic import might have been skipped to prevent overwriting your existing data. In this case, you may need to manually trigger an import.
3. Why did all my store items disappear?
If your store appears empty after the transition, it usually means the server needs to complete its data import from the v1 system.
To restore your items:
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Store page.
- Click the Options button.
- Click Delete all items (this deletes any existing v2 items).
- Refresh the page.
- You should see an import prompt. Click it to re-import your v1 items & inventories.
This process will restore both your store items and user inventories from the v1 system.
4. What happens during the import process?
When you run the import:
- All items from your v1 store are converted and added to v2.
- All user inventories are migrated.
- Important: Existing v2 inventory entries are deleted before the import to prevent duplicate items.
- Everything is rebuilt based on the last known state of your v1 data.
5. Will I lose my inventories during import?
No. User inventories are included in the migration. However, any changes made to inventories in v2 before you run a fresh import will be lost, as the import replaces the current v2 inventory state with the v1 data.
6. How many items can I create?
The maximum number of items you can have in your store depends on your server's plan:
- Free: 25 items
- Legacy Lifetime Premium: 1,000 items
- Premium Subscription: unlimited items
7. Do I need premium to import my v1 data?
No. Importing your data from v1 to v2 is free for everyone and includes all your existing items and inventories, even if they exceed the standard free limit.
However, once imported, you will not be able to create new items if you are already over your plan's limit.
8. I have legacy lifetime premium. How does it work in v2?
Legacy lifetime premium grants you a limit of 1,000 items in the v2 store. You can import all your v1 data without restriction. If your import results in more than 1,000 items, they will all still work, but you won't be able to add any more new items until you are below the limit or upgrade to a subscription.
9. I already imported but things look duplicated or broken. What should I do?
This usually happens if an import was run multiple times or if manual changes were made during the process.
Recommended fix:
- Go to Dashboard → Store → Options.
- Select Delete all items.
- Refresh the page.
- Re-run the import from the prompt.
If issues persist, please contact our support team for a manual cleanup of duplicate entries.
10. Will v1 return?
No. The v1 system has been permanently retired to make way for the more robust v2 architecture.
11. If I switch to v2, will users keep everything?
Yes. A successful migration ensures that all store items and user inventories are preserved. Users will retain their items, and their experience should remain seamless once the migration is finalized.
