Taxes, fees and money sinks
When members only ever earn, prices stop meaning anything. Money sinks take some of that money back out, so the store and leaderboard stay interesting.
What you'll use
- Role income with a negative amount
- Economy settings: maximum balance and the money audit log

Charge a regular tax
A role income with a negative amount removes money on a schedule. Income for @everyone is automatic and free, which makes it a good fit for a server-wide tax.
- Open the Dashboard → Role Income.
- Click the + next to Automatic and choose @everyone.
- Enter a negative Amount, such as
-50for a fixed tax, or-1with % selected for 1% of the balance. - Choose Bank or Cash, and how often to charge it.
